The Shape of Empty Rooms
Sometimes websites feel more alive than entire cities. Tiny blinking cursors, grayscale photographs, handwritten notes hidden between broken links. The old web felt quieter, stranger, and infinitely more personal.
A monochrome corner of the internet inspired by old personal websites, underground journals, and forgotten static pages. Built entirely with HTML and CSS.

I miss when pages loaded slowly enough to feel important. Now everything appears instantly and disappears just as quickly. Maybe nostalgia is just another form of digital haunting.
There are still hidden places online that feel untouched by algorithms. You find them accidentally at 2AM and never manage to locate them again.

minimal code, monochrome palettes, serif typography, diary-style writing, and static layouts.
Everything here exists in a single HTML file using only HTML and CSS.
